Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dynamo Dresden's Tzvetelin Gelev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petar Zhekov in the 3rd minute of play. FC Neftochimic's Dirk Jan Hoogsteen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save FC Neftochimic from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tzvetelin Gelev in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dirk Jan Hoogsteen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tzvetelin Gelev in the 8th minute. FC Neftochimic's Dirk Jan Hoogsteen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanley Bermudez in the 9th minute of play. Mito Betov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetlozar Strelkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tzvetelin Gelev in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dirk Jan Hoogsteen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Argir Mandadzhiev kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Peyo Irmanov, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Argir Mandadzhiev fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Neftochimic's protests and gave Argir Mandadzhiev a yellow card for diving instead. With his leg Dirk Jan Hoogsteen managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Dynamo Dresden's Tzvetelin Gelev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dynamo Dresden's Mito Betov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svetlozar Strelkov in the 31st minute of play. Dynamo Dresden's Petar Zhekov got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Krastyo Shtrakov charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Krastyo Shtrakov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Neftochimic booed when Dynamo Dresden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krastyo Shtrakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Denislav Petrishki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mito Betov was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denislav Petrishki in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mito Betov saved Dynamo Dresden from getting behind. With a little luck, FC Neftochimic's Dirk Jan Hoogsteen got control of the ball when Tzvetelin Gelev tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Dynamo Dresden's Petar Zhekov got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tzvetelin Gelev in the 56th minute of play forced FC Neftochimic's goalkeeper Dirk Jan Hoogsteen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, 曹光义 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 60th minute Tzvetelin Gelev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk Jan Hoogsteen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svetlozar Strelkov was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Svetlozar Strelkov hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 62 played minutes, Dynamo Dresden's Peyo Irmanov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dirk Jan Hoogsteen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dynamo Dresden reached it. The supporters of FC Neftochimic booed when Dynamo Dresden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Gopov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanley Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Tzvetelin Gelev sped through FC Neftochimic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dirk Jan Hoogsteen. If Prokopi Gerov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tzvetelin Gelev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dynamo Dresden's Tzvetelin Gelev in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Neftochimic's goalie prevented a goal. Mito Betov made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Prokopi Gerov sent off a good shot on target. After 83rd play minutes Tzvetelin Gelev shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Dirk Jan Hoogsteen and just under the crossbar into goal. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanley Bermudez, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Petar Zhekov struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dynamo Dresden.
