With a little luck, PFC Neftochimic Burgas's Stefano Mammarella got control of the ball when Paraskevas Papadimitropoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Stoyo Kozhuharov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PFC Neftochimic Burgas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to PFC Neftochimic Burgas getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alphonse Van den Broeck hit a great ball. Paraskevas Papadimitropoulos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stefano Mammarella firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nikos Giotos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avgust Chakalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Cengiz Hasankeyf hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. FC blue lions's Nikos Giotos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Mancinelli in the 30th minute of play. Mladen Pachkov kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The FC blue lions fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when FC blue lions's Paraskevas Papadimitropoulos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nikos Giotos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Mancinelli in the 36th minute of the match. Nikos Giotos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Mancinelli's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After 38 minutes, Fabio Mancinelli made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC blue lions's Nikos Giotos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Avgust Chakalski hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Stefano Mammarella acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Edgard Thielemans. In the 44thth minute of the game Paraskevas Papadimitropoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PFC Neftochimic Burgas's Stefano Mammarella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. PFC Neftochimic Burgas's Stefano Mammarella proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save PFC Neftochimic Burgas from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paraskevas Papadimitropoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC blue lions were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after PFC Neftochimic Burgas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ali Cengiz Hasankeyf took the corner. Leonard Gardocki thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Stefano Mammarella, a very annoying self made goal in the 53rd minute which led to 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Mancinelli in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikos Giotos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Vihar Kalaykov came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the FC blue lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vihar Kalaykov couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Nikos Giotos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nikos Giotos came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by PFC Neftochimic Burgas's Stoyo Kozhuharov. But to his dismay, Stoyo Kozhuharov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Vasko Stanilov charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vasko Stanilov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. PFC Neftochimic Burgas's Emanuil Milovanov was substituted for Leonard Gardocki. The supporters of PFC Neftochimic Burgas booed when FC blue lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasko Stanilov didn't get a good kick on the ball. PFC Neftochimic Burgas's Stefano Mammarella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paraskevas Papadimitropoulos in the 73rd minute of play. FC blue lions's Nikos Giotos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avgust Chakalski in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, FC blue lions's Paraskevas Papadimitropoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stefano Mammarella narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind PFC Neftochimic Burgas's goalkeeper Stefano Mammarella, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Avgust Chakalski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Giotos having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Stoyo Kozhuharov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikos Giotos. FC blue lions's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stoyo Kozhuharov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. With a little luck, FC blue lions's Nikos Giotos got control of the ball when Stoyo Kozhuharov tried to sneak it across the goal line. PFC Neftochimic Burgas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
