In the 12th minute, one of FC Zestafoni:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Zestafoni. Okhoropir Tsitsishvili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iveri Aragvsky in the 21st minute. Sergey Mamporia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Okhoropir Tsitsishvili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Djojiki Robakidze couldn't finish the play. Djojiki Machaidze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitry Pachalia, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iveri Aragvsky during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iveri Aragvsky kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. FC Zestafoni's Djojiki Machaidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djojiki Robakidze in the 43rd minute of play. Djojiki Robakidze scored 2-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Djojiki Machaidze, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dimitry Pachalia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nikolaj Lekov kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Alsager's Okhoropir Tsitsishvili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iveri Aragvsky in the 53rd minute of play. Sergey Mamporia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iveri Aragvsky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the game, Sabir Levidze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alsager's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Zestafoni the free kick. A collision led to Alsager getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sabir Levidze hit a great ball. Okhoropir Tsitsishvili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iveri Aragvsky went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Djojiki Robakidze's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Djojiki Machaidze skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Dimitry Pachalia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Djojiki Robakidze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Djojiki Machaidze read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. FC Zestafoni's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
