After 14 minutes of play, Newbury FC's Tariel Kikalishvili made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dato Gadaevi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dato Gadaevi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebur Urushadze, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The audience was convinced that Tariel Kikalishvili 's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dato Gadaevi was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. When Tariel Kikalishvili came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Newbury FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tariel Kikalishvili couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Vladimir Goloviznin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute Shoshita Alania shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Archil Alania saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebur Urushadze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dato Gadaevi having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, one of FC FenerBahce:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Newbury FC's Takha Abesadze got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dato Gadaevi. Takha Abesadze kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Shoshita Alania received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Archil Alania tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shoshita Alania in the 84th minute of play forced Newbury FC's goalkeeper Archil Alania to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bebur Urushadze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Newbury FC booed when FC FenerBahce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marat Gvaramadze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimir Goloviznin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Newbury FC defense, Shoshita Alania kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Archil Alania. The Newbury FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Archil Alania should have stopped the shot. The FC FenerBahce supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Newbury FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Newbury FC.
