Bakılı PFK's Äbülfät Cahangirov got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elnur Ähäcanov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Xaläddin Häbibov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Xaläddin Häbibov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Äbülfät Cahangirov in the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 minutes, Bähräm Alxanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bakılı PFK and the Balakän players grew even worse after the yellow card. 84 minutes into the game, one of Bakılı PFK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bakılı PFK's Misir Ağakärimov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eldäniz Quliyev in the 97th minute of play. Balakän's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mabud Ziyadov in the 99th minute. A nice corner shot did that Mabud Ziyadov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Misir Ağakärimov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the game's 99th minute Balakän's Mabud Ziyadov took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Misir Ağakärimov and thus the score was 2-1.
