The audience thought a goal was coming when Usub Cavadov got free with Tacir Älibäyli in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davud Baxşaliyev in the 11th minute of play forced Füzuli's goalkeeper Tacir Älibäyli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Abşeron got a freekick which was hit by Zaur Mähärrämov. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Äliş Malişov to strike the kick off in the second half. Usub Cavadov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tacir Älibäyli having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Davud Baxşaliyev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tacir Älibäyli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Usub Cavadov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davud Baxşaliyev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Tacir Älibäyli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davud Baxşaliyev in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tacir Älibäyli saved Füzuli from getting behind. If Usub Cavadov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes of play, Abşeron's Davud Baxşaliyev made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tacir Älibäyli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tacir Älibäyli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davud Baxşaliyev, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Mirzäli Abduläzizov's late challenge caught a Abşeron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mirzäli Abduläzizov helped the player get up and apologised. Qalib Eminov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tacir Älibäyli having to make a save. Elbrus Dünyamaliyev hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Abşeron were awarded a corner. Qalib Eminov went to the cornerflag to take it. Qalib Eminov made a great header on Abşeron's corner, it was just that Füzuli's Tacir Älibäyli managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 92ndth minute of the game Davud Baxşaliyev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Füzuli's Tacir Älibäyli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Äliş Malişov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Täbriz Azakov having to make a save. Näriman Alxasov might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Täbriz Azakov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Näriman Alxasov ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Füzuli players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Abşeron.
