Abülfäz Alesrefov started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Yardımlı was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manaf Azadäliyev to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes, Qaraçuxur's Coşğun Cabbarov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tural Alişanov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Rähim Almämmädov might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tural Alişanov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rähim Almämmädov ran back to his position shaking his head. Tural Alişanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bändäli Vahidov, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Rähim Almämmädov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tural Alişanov having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Qaraçuxur's Ehsan Abduyev got a free kick in the 30th minute. Bändäli Vahidov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Yardımlı booed when Qaraçuxur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziyäddin Räfiyev didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Qäzänfär Mälikov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tural Alişanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rähim Almämmädov in the 85th minute of the match. When Coşğun Cabbarov fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Qaraçuxur's protests and gave Coşğun Cabbarov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Qaraçuxur getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Coşğun Cabbarov hit a great ball. Imamqulu Äkbärov struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Änvär Gärayev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yardımlı. If Bändäli Vahidov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yardımlı had won after a very even match.
