Cavanşir Odunov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yasin Adigözälov came out and tried to block the shot, but Cavanşir Odunov slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Haydar İsmet made a precise shot to the right of Yasin Adigözälov. Ämircan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 16th minute when Şahin Ağankäri elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Imran Balacayev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Phil Tonnochy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Imran Balacayev, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şahin Ağankäri got free with Yasin Adigözälov in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ämircan's Yasin Adigözälov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Ämircan from getting a goal against them. Yasin Adigözälov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cavanşir Odunov, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to Ämircan getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Isgändär Fätäliyev hit a great ball. Tofiq Zülfüqarov kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Imran Balacayev in the 48th minute of play forced Zengezur's goalkeeper Phil Tonnochy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute, Zengezur's Xalid Xudadverdiyev seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Xalid Xudadverdiyev the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Zengezur protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Xalid Xudadverdiyev had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 58th minute, Idrak Mahmudov made a precise shot to the right of Yasin Adigözälov. Ämircan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. When Zengezur's Haydar İsmet in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ämircan's goalie prevented a goal. Yasin Adigözälov came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Zengezur's Haydar İsmet. But to his dismay, Haydar İsmet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Yasin Adigözälov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şahin Ağankäri in the 96th minute of play. After having played for 98 minutes, Täbriz Abdulxaliqov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ämircan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Täbriz Abdulxaliqov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ämircan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
