A collision led to Sheerness City getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Serjik Borhani hit a great ball. Mehrang Lahouti was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sasan Talebi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Armin Alavi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Withington's Navid Heidari got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arzhang Talebi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Talebi in the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Withington's Shervin Akbarpour got a free kick in the 17th minute. Sasan Talebi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armin Alavi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes Sheerness City got a freekick which was hit by Hamid Talebi. In the 37th minute Kiarash behzadpoor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arzhang Talebi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Sheerness City's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Alavi came free, but Sasan Talebi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Withington booed when Sheerness City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamid Talebi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kiarash behzadpoor made a kick off. Sheerness City's Sasan Talebi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Navid Heidari in the 61st minute of play. Withington's Arzhang Talebi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Withington from getting a goal against them. Navid Heidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sasan Talebi having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Armin Alavi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armin Alavi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Ali Reza Taghavi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Withington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sheerness City the free kick. In the 87th match minute, Withington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Reza Taghavi to maneuver through the defense. If Behrad Hasheminejad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
