The referee ignored Exeter's protests and gave Kambiz Rahnavard a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jalil Taami managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winchester AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jalil Taami was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mansoor Babakan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Exeter's goalkeeper Mansoor Babakan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jalil Taami. Mansoor Babakan made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Jalil Taami sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the game, Rostam Sharifinia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kayvan Kaebi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute Rostam Sharifinia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kayvan Kaebi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siamak Kavianpour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jalil Taami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mansoor Babakan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sohrab Yavari couldn't finish the play. Rostam Sharifinia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Kayvan Kaebi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Winchester AFC's goalkeeper Kayvan Kaebi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Winchester AFC's Behrang Tabari got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Winchester AFC's Kayvan Kaebi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rostam Sharifinia in the 74th minute of play. Omid Shahroudi hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Exeter's goal looked a bit too open when Siamak Kavianpour came free, but Mansoor Babakan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97thth minute of the game Jalil Taami who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Exeter's Mansoor Babakan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Exeter players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
