Jassem Al Abdullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basem Ashkanani having to interfere. Jassem Al Abdullah scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basem Ashkanani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Lions UAE Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Darweesh Bo Abbas came free, but Basem Ashkanani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Maidstone United booed when Lions UAE Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelnaser Al Hajraf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jassem Al Abdullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gawhar Al Ghanem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moath Al Shati went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Basem Ashkanani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After 51 minutes of play, Lions UAE Football Club's Moath Al Shati made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gawhar Al Ghanem was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Edrees Al Abdullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Edrees Al Abdullah left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lions UAE Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 70th minute Darweesh Bo Abbas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basem Ashkanani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mostafa Al Khames hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Oun Al Dekhel kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Maidstone United booed when Lions UAE Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oun Al Dekhel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jalal Ashkanani, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jassem Al Abdullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Basem Ashkanani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jassem Al Abdullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Basem Ashkanani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Maidstone United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
