Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jassem Dashti took the kick off in the first half of the match. Morjan Al Abdullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oun Al Dosery having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Plumstead AFC's Morjan Al Abdullah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oun Al Dosery narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Morjan Al Abdullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Oun Al Dosery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, North Shields was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mahmoud Bo Abbas to maneuver through the defense. Oun Al Dosery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morjan Al Abdullah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Morjan Al Abdullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes North Shields got a freekick which was hit by Hamed Al Holey. In the 21st minute, Ghaith Al Naqi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and North Shields's Oun Al Dosery didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morjan Al Abdullah in the 28th minute of play forced North Shields's goalkeeper Oun Al Dosery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Morjan Al Abdullah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oun Al Dosery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Plumstead AFC's Mansour Al Bana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Younis Al Muwail in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammad Al Habshi in the 46th minute of play forced North Shields's goalkeeper Oun Al Dosery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 51 minutes, Riad Boften mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plumstead AFC and the North Shields players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Plumstead AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 50th minute. Penalty! Oun Al Dosery made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Mohammad Al Habshi sent off a good shot on target. Morjan Al Abdullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oun Al Dosery having to interfere. When Morjan Al Abdullah came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Plumstead AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morjan Al Abdullah couldn't finish the play. Morjan Al Abdullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Oun Al Dosery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Morjan Al Abdullah in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oun Al Dosery saved North Shields from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, Mohammad Al Habshi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oun Al Dosery. North Shields's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohammad Al Habshi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Mohammad Al Habshi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Oun Al Dosery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Riad Boften got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Plumstead AFC's Riad Boften got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Mansour Al Bana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zahid Al Sallal, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Mohammad Al Habshi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oun Al Dosery having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Mohammad Al Habshi could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Oun Al Dosery however easily saved by the left post.
