Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bader Bo Resley got the match started through his kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Peterlee City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Masuod Al Ammar, was totally fooled by Shaldon's Hani Shalan, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Shaldon's Sadeq Hayat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yahya Al Homaithe in the 8th minute of play. Masuod Al Ammar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fahad Al Matrok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sari Mandane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Masuod Al Ammar having to interfere. Masuod Al Ammar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bader Bo Resley in the 15th minute of play. If Sari Mandane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Masuod Al Ammar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nizar Abo Al Hasan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bader Bo Resley in the 22nd minute of play forced Peterlee City's goalkeeper Masuod Al Ammar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Peterlee City getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Aqel Al Bana hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Hani Shalan managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. With a little luck, Peterlee City's Masuod Al Ammar got control of the ball when Sari Mandane tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Faris Sarkhoh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes, Peterlee City's Jaber Al Wazan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sadeq Hayat came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peterlee City reached it. Masuod Al Ammar came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Shaldon's Sari Mandane. But to his dismay, Sari Mandane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yahya Al Homaithe made a kick off. Sadeq Hayat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yahya Al Homaithe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sari Mandane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58thth minute of the game Bader Bo Resley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peterlee City's Masuod Al Ammar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mansour Al Bahar during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mansour Al Bahar kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Sadeq Hayat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yahya Al Homaithe's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Peterlee City's Yahya Al Homaithe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sadeq Hayat. That made the score 2-1 after 68 minutes of play. If Yahya Al Homaithe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Sari Mandane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Masuod Al Ammar was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. If Sari Mandane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Peterlee City's zone, Sari Mandane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Masuod Al Ammar came out of the goal and Sari Mandane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fahad Al Matrok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th match minute, Shaldon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamdan Al Khars to maneuver through the defense. Yahya Al Homaithe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Sadeq Hayat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 minutes of play Shaldon's Mansour Al Bahar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 92nd match minute, Shaldon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mansour Al Bahar to maneuver through the defense. Yahya Al Homaithe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadeq Hayat having to interfere. Shaldon were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peterlee City for a fine match.
