In the 6th minute, Hove's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Faris Sarkhoh fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamdan Al Mothaf in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Masuod Al Ammar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adem Al Asuosi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamdan Al Mothaf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Masuod Al Ammar having to make a save. In the 19th match minute, Peterlee City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bader Abol to maneuver through the defense. Hove's Esam Shabakhoh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Hove from getting a goal against them. Hamdan Al Mothaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Masuod Al Ammar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Peterlee City's Bader Abol got a free kick in the 26th minute. Hamdan Al Mothaf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Masuod Al Ammar having to interfere. A collision led to Peterlee City getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ameer Al Hajri hit a great ball. Faris Sarkhoh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esam Shabakhoh having to interfere. Faris Sarkhoh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Esam Shabakhoh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes Hove's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fayez Khaja who took care of the corner kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hamdan Al Mothaf to strike the kick off in the second half. Hamdan Al Mothaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Masuod Al Ammar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edrees Al Banai kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Fayez Khaja, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jaffer Al Amer's late challenge caught a Peterlee City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaffer Al Amer helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Hove got a freekick which was hit by Jaffer Al Amer. The supporters of Peterlee City booed when Hove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edrees Al Banai didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adem Al Asuosi got free with Masuod Al Ammar in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute Yahya Al Homaithe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esam Shabakhoh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hove's Esam Shabakhoh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yahya Al Homaithe in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 minutes, Hamdan Al Mothaf made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Peterlee City's Masuod Al Ammar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hove walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
