With his leg Abdulatif Al Khames managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Newton Aycliffe's Mamon Al Fadhalah fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 26 in the game by Mamon Al Fadhalah from a close distance when the talented Abdulatif Al Khames managed to make a qualified save. Baldock AFC's players were relieved. Firas Al Rifaee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mamon Shalan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fawaz Al Bana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Firas Al Rifaee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mamon Shalan's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Abdulatif Al Khames took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rajab Al Qatam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdulatif Al Khames made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Mamon Al Fadhalah sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th match minute, Baldock AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dhari Al Khames to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Rajab Al Qatam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulatif Al Khames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Newton Aycliffe's goal looked a bit too open when Fawaz Al Bana came free, but Firas Al Rifaee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mamon Al Fadhalah struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Abdulatif Al Khames didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newton Aycliffe. After a defensive mix-up in Baldock AFC's zone, Taqi Al Sharah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulatif Al Khames came out of the goal and Taqi Al Sharah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some careless play in the Baldock AFC defense, Rajab Al Qatam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdulatif Al Khames. The Baldock AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdulatif Al Khames should have stopped the shot. Firas Al Rifaee made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Fawaz Al Bana sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Newton Aycliffe defense, Fawaz Al Bana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Firas Al Rifaee. The Newton Aycliffe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Firas Al Rifaee should have stopped the shot. The Newton Aycliffe fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Newton Aycliffe's Rajab Al Qatam looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Baldock AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Salah Ghadhanfer hit a great ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Mamon Al Fadhalah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baldock AFC's Abdulatif Al Khames was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abdulatif Al Khames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mamon Al Fadhalah in the 87th minute of the match. Mamon Al Fadhalah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Abdulatif Al Khames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Baldock AFC got a freekick which was hit by Salah Ghadhanfer. Wasel Al Mothaf took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abdulatif Al Khames. Baldock AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mamon Al Fadhalah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rajab Al Qatam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Abdulatif Al Khames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
