The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Morjan Al Motaire made a precise shot to the right of Abdullah Al Mehana. Timperley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sror Shamsah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Abdullah Al Mehana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Sror Shamsah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayern Munich's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sror Shamsah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute Sror Shamsah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdullah Al Mehana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Timperley's Mohammad Al Besher got a free kick in the 13th minute. Timperley's Abdullah Al Mehana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sror Shamsah in the 14th minute of play. Hamad Al Bloshi hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Sror Shamsah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bayern Munich's supporters rose to their feet, but Sror Shamsah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdullah Al Mehana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Morjan Al Motaire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Abdullah Al Mehana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morjan Al Motaire, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Abdullah Al Mehana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morjan Al Motaire in the 24th minute of play. Abdullah Al Mehana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sror Shamsah's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Morjan Al Motaire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdullah Al Mehana having to interfere. Sror Shamsah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute Morjan Al Motaire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdullah Al Mehana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Morjan Al Motaire made the kick off in the second half. In the 95th minute, Meqdad Bahbhani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Timperley fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bayern Munich were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
