Meteb Khaja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalaf Bahroh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalaf Bahroh in the 4th minute of play forced Boston FC's goalkeeper Meteb Khaja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boston FC's Meteb Khaja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahdi Ashkanani in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, Boston FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abbas Al Bana to maneuver through the defense. Meteb Khaja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalaf Bahroh in the 9th minute of play. Shaheen Shrean scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jalal Al Najdi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Khalefa Bo Hamad hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Fakher Kakoli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jalal Al Najdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seraj Al Jalahma in the 17th minute of play. Khalaf Bahroh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meteb Khaja having to interfere. Shaheen Shrean made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 30thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Jalal Al Najdi would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 32nd minute, Khalaf Bahroh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Meteb Khaja was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Khaled Al Zamel hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Seraj Al Jalahma was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Boston FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Khaled Al Zamel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jalal Al Najdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Marzoq Al Ansari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Meteb Khaja was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Seraj Al Jalahma made a kick off. Khalaf Bahroh scored 2-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Meteb Khaja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute, Seraj Al Jalahma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Geddington getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Marzoq Al Ansari hit a great ball. Shaheen Shrean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jalal Al Najdi having to interfere. Jalal Al Najdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seraj Al Jalahma in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Mahdi Ashkanani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Boston FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Osama Kamal hit a great ball. Mahdi Ashkanani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jalal Al Najdi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seraj Al Jalahma's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Marzoq Al Ansari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geddington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boston FC the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Geddington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marzoq Al Ansari to maneuver through the defense. Seraj Al Jalahma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jalal Al Najdi having to interfere. The supporters of Boston FC booed when Geddington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamed Al Azmi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khalaf Bahroh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jalal Al Najdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shaheen Shrean in the 96th minute of the match.
