Shaker Al Abdullah hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Yasen Al Bahar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tolek Owsiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fuad Shams in the 29th minute of play forced Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC's goalkeeper Tolek Owsiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ajmán Club booed when Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdul Mohsen Al Banwan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barakat Al Mehana kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The crowd rose to their feet as Hamzah Bo Abbas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Curt Stöckli. That made the score 0-2 in the 64 minute of play. Ghazi Al Ajmi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC booed when Ajmán Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ghazi Al Ajmi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ajmán Club getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Faleh Al Mahmed hit a great ball. Shaker Al Abdullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Curt Stöckli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tolek Owsiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habib Al Hindi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC's Sari Bo Hamad slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Curt Stöckli. That made the score 0-4 after 95 minutes of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
