The supporters of Al Shabab Al Arabi Club booed when Ajmán Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ghazi Al Ajmi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3 minutes into the match, Al Shabab Al Arabi Club's Fayez Al Hadad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Curt Stöckli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 4th minute of the match, Fuad Shams tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eriberto Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eriberto Amorim made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Fuad Shams sent off a good shot on target. Eriberto Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habib Al Hindi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esmael Al Jalahma hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute of the match, Fuad Shams tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eriberto Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 12th match minute, Al Shabab Al Arabi Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qasem Al Mofede to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 20 minutes, Fuad Shams managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ajmán Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fuad Shams was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fuad Shams received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eriberto Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Fuad Shams slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. Curt Stöckli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saleh Al Dabos, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Moath Al Zamel charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moath Al Zamel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Al Shabab Al Arabi Club booed when Ajmán Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moath Al Zamel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fayez Al Hadad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Curt Stöckli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Saleh Al Dabos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curt Stöckli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Ajmán Club getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Fuad Shams hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Ajmán Club's goal looked a bit too open when Saleh Al Dabos came free, but Curt Stöckli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Al Shabab Al Arabi Club's Fayez Al Hadad to fire away a dangerous shot which Curt Stöckli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 55th minute Fuad Shams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curt Stöckli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saleh Al Dabos, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Mosalam Al Sherazi hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Habib Al Hindi in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Amorim saved Al Shabab Al Arabi Club from getting behind. Eriberto Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habib Al Hindi in the 67th minute of the match. Al Shabab Al Arabi Club's Eriberto Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Al Hindi in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Saleh Al Dabos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ajmán Club's Curt Stöckli. Curt Stöckli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Esmael Al Jalahma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Ajmán Club's goalkeeper Curt Stöckli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saleh Al Dabos. Curt Stöckli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalefa Al Srae in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habib Al Hindi in the 87th minute of play forced Al Shabab Al Arabi Club's goalkeeper Eriberto Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Fakher Dashti made a precise shot to the right of Curt Stöckli. Ajmán Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of Al Shabab Al Arabi Club booed when Ajmán Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Habib Al Hindi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Al Shabab Al Arabi Club getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Basel Al Sharaf hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Al Shabab Al Arabi Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
