In the 2nd minute, Andrey Boichenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timofey Shuteev made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Gennadiy Istomin sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the match, Caversham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Petr Kudryashov came free, but Timofey Shuteev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 minutes, Arkadiy Skosyrskiy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caversham FC and the Thurlaston players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Caversham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkadiy Skosyrskiy to maneuver through the defense. Vladislav Shiryaev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Lopyrev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrey Boichenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caversham FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Petr Kudryashov scored to the left of an out of position Timofey Shuteev, making the score, 1-0. When Gennadiy Istomin came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Thurlaston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gennadiy Istomin couldn't finish the play. Caversham FC's Timofey Shuteev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petr Kudryashov in the 19th minute of play. If Andrey Boichenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrey Boichenko in the 30th minute of play forced Caversham FC's goalkeeper Timofey Shuteev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timofey Shuteev was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Gennadiy Istomin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gennadiy Istomin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Vladislav Shiryaev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Anisimov, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Ivan Tyumenev notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Thurlaston's Vladislav Shiryaev. Vladislav Shiryaev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andrey Boichenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrey Boichenko might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timofey Shuteev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrey Boichenko ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute, Petr Kudryashov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caversham FC's Timofey Shuteev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petr Kudryashov in the 45th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Caversham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danil Sladkov to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
In the 53rd minute Andrey Boichenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timofey Shuteev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Gennadiy Istomin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thurlaston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gennadiy Istomin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timofey Shuteev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gennadiy Istomin in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Caversham FC's Danil Sladkov got a free kick in the 56th minute. Timofey Shuteev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrey Boichenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60thth minute of the game Andrey Boichenko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caversham FC's Timofey Shuteev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andrey Boichenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Timofey Shuteev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Alontsov took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timofey Shuteev. Timofey Shuteev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gennadiy Istomin in the 74th minute of play forced Caversham FC's goalkeeper Timofey Shuteev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Andrey Boichenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Caversham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gennadiy Istomin came free, but Timofey Shuteev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boris Berbikov kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Roman Anisimov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Caversham FC's zone, Kirill Galkin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timofey Shuteev came out of the goal and Kirill Galkin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timofey Shuteev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrey Boichenko in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to Caversham FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Fedor Tuftin hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Andrey Boichenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timofey Shuteev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gennadiy Istomin in the 94th minute of the match. Caversham FC's Timofey Shuteev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petr Kudryashov in the 96th minute of play. During the 97th minute of the match Arkadiy Skosyrskiy completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Arkadiy Skosyrskiy a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 98 played minutes Caversham FC got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiy Skosyrskiy. Thurlaston walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
