Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pavel Ermolin made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Borislav Sysoev got free with Ippolit Bubenschikov in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Demyan Toporkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borislav Sysoev came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ippolit Bubenschikov could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Downton FC's zone, Vladimir Evdokimov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Florenskiy came out of the goal and Vladimir Evdokimov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pavel Ermolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. David Florenskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Grigoriy Solomatin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Downton FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexborough the free kick. After a rather tough play, Downton FC's Grigoriy Solomatin got a free kick in the 17th minute. Vladimir Evdokimov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Florenskiy having to make a save. David Florenskiy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pavel Ermolin's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Borislav Sysoev struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ippolit Bubenschikov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Downton FC. Anatoliy Nekrasov charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anatoliy Nekrasov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Anatoliy Nekrasov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes of play, Mexborough's Pavel Ermolin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Florenskiy was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37thth minute of the game Pavel Ermolin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Downton FC's David Florenskiy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Florenskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Evdokimov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pavel Ermolin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 41 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The David Florenskiy was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vladimir Evdokimov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Florenskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Ermolin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Varlam Potemin to make the kick off. Pavel Ermolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Florenskiy having to interfere. When Kirill Shevchuk fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Downton FC's protests and gave Kirill Shevchuk a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mexborough booed when Downton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kirill Shevchuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Mexborough defense, Varlam Potemin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ippolit Bubenschikov. The Mexborough fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ippolit Bubenschikov should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute, Mexborough's Vyacheslav Dezhurov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Florenskiy. David Florenskiy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 73rd minute, Pavel Ermolin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Downton FC's zone, Vladimir Evdokimov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Florenskiy came out of the goal and Vladimir Evdokimov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Downton FC's David Florenskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Downton FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 90 minutes, Vladimir Evdokimov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexborough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimir Evdokimov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Downton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Ermolin came free, but David Florenskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Downton FC got a freekick which was hit by Irakliy Shimkus. In the 94th play minute Vladimir Evdokimov came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised David Florenskiy. 1-3. Mexborough's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
