Downton FC's Dmitriy Gorazeev pulled a muscle in his leg after 7 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Emmanuil Konov's late challenge caught a Downton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emmanuil Konov helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Aktobe getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Emmanuil Konov hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Emmanuil Konov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Aktobe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Varlam Potemin was the one to do the kick off. FC Aktobe's Boris Alekseenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Varlam Potemin in the 58th minute of play. Gennadiy Kallash charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gennadiy Kallash the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Downton FC's Varlam Potemin got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Varlam Potemin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Aktobe supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Aktobe would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
