Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Filipp Baikov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Padiham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipp Baikov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimir Lyadov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Konovalov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Stepan Skobelev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksey Holodnyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Konovalov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Vladimir Lyadov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute of the match Valeriy Barabanov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vladimir Lyadov skillfully saved the ball. In the 23rd minute, Pavel Kerzhakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleksey Holodnyi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filipp Baikov in the 24th minute. Padiham's Vladimir Lyadov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Konovalov in the 31st minute of play. Innokentiy Dyuzhev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Lyadov having to interfere. Alay City's Aleksey Holodnyi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Alay City from getting a goal against them. Alay City's Innokentiy Dyuzhev got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stepan Skobelev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aleksey Holodnyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stepan Skobelev, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Alay City's Pavel Kerzhakov got a free kick in the 56th minute. Stepan Skobelev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Filipp Baikov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pavel Kerzhakov's late challenge caught a Padiham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pavel Kerzhakov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Alay City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Kerzhakov to maneuver through the defense. The Padiham fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Padiham's Filipp Baikov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Padiham getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ippolit Haliluev hit a great ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Filipp Baikov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Innokentiy Dyuzhev really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Aleksey Holodnyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stepan Skobelev, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Filipp Baikov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Vladislav Golovskoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stepan Skobelev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alay City's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
