In the 28th minute Timofey Karachunskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timur Drannikov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timur Drannikov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantin Sladkov in the 30th minute of the match. If Fedor Brezanskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnold Geit's late challenge caught a Binsted's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fedor Brezanskiy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Nikifor Tuulik skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timofey Karachunskiy made a kick off. When Fedor Brezanskiy got free in front of the goal in the 53rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Nikifor Tuulik was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fedor Brezanskiy in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikifor Tuulik saved Binsted from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantin Sladkov in the 64th minute of play forced Turan Tovuz's goalkeeper Timur Drannikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valeriy Kantariya scored 1-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikifor Tuulik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Konstantin Sladkov took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timur Drannikov. Timur Drannikov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Valeriy Zhebin charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valeriy Zhebin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Turan Tovuz booed when Binsted was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriy Zhebin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fedor Brezanskiy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikifor Tuulik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Fedor Brezanskiy notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Binsted's Nikifor Tuulik. Nikifor Tuulik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Binsted getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Artem Tumanov hit a great ball. Fedor Brezanskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikifor Tuulik having to interfere.
