Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Turan Tovuz's Fedor Brezanskiy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Turan Tovuz booed when Colchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oleg Ananskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Arnold Geit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th match minute, Turan Tovuz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Plyasov to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Turan Tovuz were awarded a corner. Fedor Brezanskiy went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Timofey Beglyarov heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 24 minutes into the match, Turan Tovuz's Valeriy Kantariya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Danilov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Colchester City got a freekick which was hit by Egor Matveev. A collision led to Colchester City getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Vladimir Voronov hit a great ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Fedor Brezanskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turan Tovuz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedor Brezanskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnold Geit's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albert Danilov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fedor Brezanskiy in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albert Danilov saved Colchester City from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ilya Chemborisov to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Oleg Belelyubskiy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timofey Beglyarov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albert Danilov. Colchester City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Timur Drannikov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilya Chemborisov, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 60 minutes, Fedor Brezanskiy made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Colchester City's Albert Danilov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Albert Danilov came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Turan Tovuz's Arnold Geit. But to his dismay, Arnold Geit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Fedor Brezanskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th match minute, Colchester City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oleg Ananskiy to maneuver through the defense. If Ilya Chemborisov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fedor Brezanskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Albert Danilov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Ilya Chemborisov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colchester City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilya Chemborisov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timur Drannikov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colchester City. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Turan Tovuz had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
