Balya Rekhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Dhrsaj Batra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Whickham's Devasista Barua got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Campu Grewal made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Partap Joshi sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, Sedlescombe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Balya Rekhi came free, but Dhrsaj Batra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Whickham booed when Sedlescombe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adisesan Sohota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anupriya Khatter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dhrsaj Batra having to make a save. Balya Rekhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dhrsaj Batra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sedlescombe FC's zone, Devasista Barua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dhrsaj Batra came out of the goal and Devasista Barua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Balya Rekhi in the 38th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 39th minute, Devasista Barua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dhrsaj Batra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balya Rekhi in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Devesita Prasad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sedlescombe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Whickham the free kick. Devesita Prasad kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devasista Barua in the 44th minute of play forced Sedlescombe FC's goalkeeper Dhrsaj Batra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Balya Rekhi made the kick off in the second half. If Balya Rekhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 56 minutes, Devasista Barua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whickham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Devasista Barua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dhrsaj Batra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balya Rekhi in the 57th minute of play. Devasista Barua had several of the Sedlescombe FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Dhrsaj Batra as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Sedlescombe FC's Kancukita Ayer got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Balya Rekhi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whickham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balya Rekhi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Devasista Barua struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Dhrsaj Batra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whickham. Devasista Barua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bahugava Ahuja took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Campu Grewal. Campu Grewal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 84th minute, Whickham's Balya Rekhi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Bahugava Ahuja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sedlescombe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bahugava Ahuja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Campu Grewal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Whickham's Balya Rekhi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dhrsaj Batra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balya Rekhi in the 94th minute of play forced Sedlescombe FC's goalkeeper Dhrsaj Batra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Partap Joshi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Campu Grewal having to interfere. Anupriya Khatter hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
