In the 12thth minute of the game Balya Rekhi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knaresborough's Aryasva Dhariwal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amitadjuti Bajwa struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Campu Grewal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knaresborough. Bahuvirya Bajaj hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amitadjuti Bajwa in the 28th minute of play forced Whickham's goalkeeper Campu Grewal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Adarsh Aulakh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aryasva Dhariwal skillfully saved the ball. If Devasista Barua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Devasista Barua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Aryasva Dhariwal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 40 in the game by Devasista Barua from a close distance when the talented Aryasva Dhariwal managed to make a qualified save. Knaresborough's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Whickham's zone, Atidatta Chana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Campu Grewal came out of the goal and Atidatta Chana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amitadjuti Bajwa made a kick off. When Amitadjuti Bajwa came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Knaresborough fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amitadjuti Bajwa couldn't finish the play. Whickham's Balya Rekhi got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Whickham got a freekick which was hit by Anupriya Khatter. Whickham's attack was well implemented in the 72nd minute, but when Balya Rekhi was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When Adarsh Aulakh fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Whickham's protests and gave Adarsh Aulakh a yellow card for diving instead. Adarsh Aulakh kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Bahuvirya Bajaj took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aryasva Dhariwal. Knaresborough's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Knaresborough's Haramala Mandal got a free kick in the 79th minute. Devasista Barua struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Aryasva Dhariwal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whickham. When Haramala Mandal fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knaresborough's protests and gave Haramala Mandal a yellow card for diving instead. Haramala Mandal hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Devasista Barua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aryasva Dhariwal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Knaresborough's goal looked a bit too open when Balya Rekhi came free, but Aryasva Dhariwal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Whickham fully deserved thier win.
