Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gateshead FC's Arvind Patel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Devesh Dube managed to get in a good position for a shot. Studley's supporters rose to their feet, but Devesh Dube was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hansaraja Varghese breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Devesh Dube had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Balistha Rai came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Gateshead FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balistha Rai couldn't finish the play. If Dulicandra Sharma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Gateshead FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Abhraroha Bhatia hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Gateshead FC's Candrangada Sambhi got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Devesh Dube shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansaraja Varghese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dulicandra Sharma in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hansaraja Varghese saved Gateshead FC from getting behind. Agarva Waraich kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Arvind Patel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khettry Mahmi having to interfere. Hansaraja Varghese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dulicandra Sharma, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Gateshead FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dulicandra Sharma came free, but Hansaraja Varghese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvind Patel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khettry Mahmi having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dulicandra Sharma to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Studley's goal looked a bit too open when Arvind Patel came free, but Khettry Mahmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvind Patel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Khettry Mahmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Candrangada Sambhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dulicandra Sharma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dulicandra Sharma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Abhraroha Bhatia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gateshead FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Studley the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gateshead FC's Abhraroha Bhatia got a free kick in the 67th minute. Amritam Ngullie struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Hansaraja Varghese didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Studley. Arvind Patel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 83rd minute of the match Agarva Waraich completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Agarva Waraich a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Gateshead FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Agarva Waraich hit a great ball. Hansaraja Varghese made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Devesh Dube sent off a good shot on target. Abhraroha Bhatia got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Gateshead FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Abhraroha Bhatia hit a great ball. Dulicandra Sharma might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hansaraja Varghese. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dulicandra Sharma ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Studley players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
