If Atisthira Reddy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Studley got a freekick which was hit by Dhann Shankar. 43 minutes into the match, Clacton AFC's Nirvair Khalsa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Raghuvinderjit Mann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dulicandra Sharma stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amritam Ngullie's late challenge caught a Clacton AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Atisthira Reddy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Khettry Mahmi. That made the score 0-1 in the 93 minute of play.
