Pinki Chatterjee kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Anasaya Raj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weybridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anasaya Raj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bharanda Bhardwaj might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abhijana Iyer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bharanda Bhardwaj ran back to his position shaking his head. Brhadkaya Sirjoshi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rajender D'Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brhadkaya Sirjoshi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalabhiti Dhotre, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bharanda Bhardwaj in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abhijana Iyer saved Blyth from getting behind. Dugga Takhar's late challenge caught a Blyth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dugga Takhar helped the player get up and apologised. Dugga Takhar kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Bharanda Bhardwaj managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weybridge's supporters rose to their feet, but Bharanda Bhardwaj was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abhijana Iyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Abhinanda De's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abhijana Iyer was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After 40 minutes, Pinki Chatterjee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blyth and the Weybridge players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Blyth got a freekick which was hit by Dilmohan Jha. 44 minutes into the match, Blyth's goal looked a bit too open when Abhinanda De came free, but Abhijana Iyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abhinanda De in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abhijana Iyer saved Blyth from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Atamjit Gurai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Brhadkaya Sirjoshi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bahubala Paul struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Brhadkaya Sirjoshi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blyth. The supporters of Weybridge booed when Blyth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pinki Chatterjee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bharanda Bhardwaj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Bharanda Bhardwaj reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abhijana Iyer. The goal made the score 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Blyth's zone, Abhinanda De stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abhijana Iyer came out of the goal and Abhinanda De tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Blyth's Bahuvirya Haito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brhadkaya Sirjoshi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 77th minute, Abhinanda De got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Weybridge's Abhinanda De got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, Weybridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anasaya Raj to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Bharanda Bhardwaj notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Blyth's Abhijana Iyer. Abhijana Iyer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Blyth fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Weybridge were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
