An unexpectedly hard shot by Chand Rajput in the 29th minute of play forced FC Inter 77's goalkeeper Vijay Kang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Southbourne City's Avanisa Sutantar got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Dhavalacandra Salve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Sukhdeep Bhatti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vijay Kang was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vijay Kang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sukhdeep Bhatti in the 44th minute of play. The FC Inter 77 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Southbourne City were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anandroop Kaal to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, FC Inter 77's goalkeeper Vijay Kang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Piara Mallik. In the 58th match minute, Southbourne City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piara Mallik to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Inter 77's Vijay Kang got control of the ball when Piara Mallik tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Dhavalacandra Salve managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Inter 77's supporters rose to their feet, but Dhavalacandra Salve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daksanila Bangopadhyay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Anandroop Kaal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Chand Rajput reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vijay Kang. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 91st minute, Dhavalacandra Salve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Inter 77 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
