An unexpectedly hard shot by Atidatta Irani in the 19th minute of play forced Wellesbourne's goalkeeper Cittavata Chattha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Atidatta Irani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cittavata Chattha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bombay Brats's goalkeeper Alipriya Malhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dhrtatman Sirjoshi during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Wellesbourne booed when Bombay Brats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dhrtatman Sirjoshi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Hariharan Nayyar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alipriya Malhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hariharan Nayyar in the 37th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gunidatta Linyu made a kick off. Kirba Ran Chatterjee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alipriya Malhan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hariharan Nayyar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 55 minute of play. Hariharan Nayyar in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alipriya Malhan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wellesbourne's Cittavata Chattha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atidatta Irani in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, Bombay Brats's Alipriya Malhan got control of the ball when Hariharan Nayyar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bombay Brats's Krpanaka Virk got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 69th minute, Krpanaka Virk fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Hariharan Nayyar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alipriya Malhan having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Hariharan Nayyar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alipriya Malhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alipriya Malhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunidatta Linyu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 95 minutes, Krpanaka Virk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bombay Brats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krpanaka Virk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bombay Brats's zone, Hariharan Nayyar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alipriya Malhan came out of the goal and Hariharan Nayyar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wellesbourne played a much better game than Bombay Brats and deserved their victory. The Bombay Brats players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
