Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abhiru Pujari kicked off to start the match. If Arunava Sodhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Satish Pandey in the 5th minute of play forced Heybridge Basin AFC's goalkeeper Ksitibhuj Thakkar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Satish Pandey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ksitibhuj Thakkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hiral Bhangu got free with Ajalika Mohan in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Heybridge Basin AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Abhiru Pujari hit a great ball. Arunava Sodhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ksitibhuj Thakkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arunava Sodhi took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ksitibhuj Thakkar. Ksitibhuj Thakkar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hiral Bhangu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Ajalika Mohan made a huge save. In the 23rd match minute, Beeston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amana Ahuja to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Beeston's goal looked a bit too open when Abhiru Pujari came free, but Ajalika Mohan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Heybridge Basin AFC's Abhiru Pujari in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beeston's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atiratra Japra during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 34 minutes into the match, Heybridge Basin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Devanaman Bagha came free, but Ksitibhuj Thakkar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arunava Sodhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ksitibhuj Thakkar having to interfere. Arunava Sodhi's late challenge caught a Heybridge Basin AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arunava Sodhi helped the player get up and apologised. If Hiral Bhangu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Beeston's Satish Pandey in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Heybridge Basin AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Beeston were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arunava Sodhi to make the kick off. Satish Pandey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Satish Pandey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ksitibhuj Thakkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ksitibhuj Thakkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Heybridge Basin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arunava Sodhi came free, but Ksitibhuj Thakkar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heybridge Basin AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Arunava Sodhi scored to the left of an out of position Ksitibhuj Thakkar, making the score, 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Beeston's Arunava Sodhi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ksitibhuj Thakkar. That made the score 0-3 after 83 minutes of play. In the 91st minute, Arunava Sodhi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute, Heybridge Basin AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Satish Pandey fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Beeston's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
