Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Poster FC's Basanta Sandhu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anukula Sran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anukula Sran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manu Chhugani, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Jagdeep Bhosle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jagadbala Aulakh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kanvar Dutta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tavistock's Harmandar Madhusudan got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Tavistock's goal looked a bit too open when Manu Chhugani came free, but Anukula Sran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aparthiva Ahuja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jagadbala Aulakh having to interfere. After 23 minutes of play, Poster FC's Manu Chhugani made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anukula Sran was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute Manu Chhugani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anukula Sran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes Poster FC got a freekick which was hit by Kalpana Rattu. Jagadbala Aulakh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aparthiva Ahuja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Tavistock's goalkeeper Anukula Sran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manu Chhugani. Aparthiva Ahuja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jagadbala Aulakh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jagdeep Bhosle in the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tavistock's Anukula Sran got control of the ball when Manu Chhugani tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, Tavistock's Anasin Shetty made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jagadbala Aulakh was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tavistock's Anasin Shetty managed to work through Poster FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Anasin Shetty dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Poster FC's Jagadbala Aulakh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aparthiva Ahuja in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tavistock's Kakubjaya Barn got a free kick in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Poster FC's Kalpana Rattu got a free kick in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aparthiva Ahuja in the 81st minute of play forced Poster FC's goalkeeper Jagadbala Aulakh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Anukula Sran successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Manu Chhugani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poster FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manu Chhugani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anukula Sran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Tavistock lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
