Aparthiva Ahuja struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Davender Barua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tavistock. In the 11th minute, Abhaya Bhasin made a precise shot to the right of Anukula Sran. Tavistock's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Diksita Prasad hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Abhaya Bhasin came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Fleet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abhaya Bhasin couldn't finish the play. Amoghadarsana Balli hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Abhisikta Chattophadhyay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fleet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tavistock the free kick. In the 23rd minute, one of Fleet:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fleet. The referee gave Tavistock a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anasin Shetty, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fleet's Davender Barua. 1-1. When Ayuja Chattophadhyay fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fleet's protests and gave Ayuja Chattophadhyay a yellow card for diving instead. Ayuja Chattophadhyay kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Davender Barua was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aparthiva Ahuja showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 35 minute of play. If Anasin Shetty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Indrayan Dambria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anukula Sran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Aparthiva Ahuja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tavistock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aparthiva Ahuja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 minutes of play, Tavistock's Anasin Shetty made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davender Barua was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Abhaya Bhasin made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Anasin Shetty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davender Barua stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aparthiva Ahuja's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After 54 minutes, Jaja Bhattacharya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fleet and the Tavistock players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaja Bhattacharya hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Abhisikta Chattophadhyay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Aparthiva Ahuja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abhaya Bhasin succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. Darsanapala Mehra kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tavistock's Anukula Sran got control of the ball when Indrayan Dambria tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Harmandar Madhusudan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tavistock's supporters rose to their feet, but Harmandar Madhusudan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davender Barua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davender Barua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aparthiva Ahuja, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Tavistock's Anasin Shetty got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tavistock fully deserved thier win.
