Polaris's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wibtoft City the free kick. A collision led to Polaris getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Shanker Lalli hit a great ball. Prakash Sangha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Prakash Sangha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anuyayin Jammu struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Amritaka Mandal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polaris. Campeya Reel scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amritaka Mandal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kupati Attariwala got free with Massem Gala in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Dhanavanta Walia fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polaris's protests and gave Dhanavanta Walia a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Polaris's zone, Prakash Sangha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Massem Gala came out of the goal and Prakash Sangha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kupati Attariwala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Anuyayin Jammu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Amritaka Mandal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Prakash Sangha made a precise shot to the right of Massem Gala. Polaris's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Prakash Sangha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Massem Gala having to make a save. After 70 played minutes Wibtoft City got a freekick which was hit by Amaraprita Khattri. After 71 played minutes, Polaris's Bapudeva Sokhey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amritaka Mandal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Polaris reached it. In the 72nd minute, Bapudeva Sokhey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kupati Attariwala came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Wibtoft City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kupati Attariwala couldn't finish the play. During the 76th minute of the match Shanker Lalli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Shanker Lalli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 77 played minutes Polaris got a freekick which was hit by Shanker Lalli. Campeya Reel scored 1-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amritaka Mandal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Campeya Reels short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Amritaka Mandal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Amaraprita Khattri fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wibtoft City's protests and gave Amaraprita Khattri a yellow card for diving instead. Amaraprita Khattri hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
