A collision led to Par FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Kalyanavata Nagra hit a great ball. If Dattatreya Kulkarni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Sukhcharan Sukhija notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Par FC's Jagacitra Mittal. Jagacitra Mittal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Elementalists getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Kashyap Chakma hit a great ball. Amarisa Holkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Satbir Samran kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Par FC got a freekick which was hit by Jayanta Anand. The audience thought a goal was coming when Candravallabha Deshpande got free with Sridhar Shetty in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jagacitra Mittal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sukhcharan Sukhija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Amarisa Holkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Sridhar Shetty successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 41 played minutes Elementalists got a freekick which was hit by Satbir Samran. Sukhcharan Sukhija received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jagacitra Mittal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amarisa Holkar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sridhar Shetty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Kashyap Chakma made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Elementalists got a corner. Par FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Didyu Rudrappa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elementalists's Didyu Rudrappa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jagacitra Mittal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Amarisa Holkar kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Amarisa Holkar came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Par FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amarisa Holkar couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Par FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Kalyanavata Nagra hit a great ball. Candravallabha Deshpande's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sridhar Shetty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 89th minute Sukhcharan Sukhija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jagacitra Mittal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jagacitra Mittal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sukhcharan Sukhija showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 92 minute of play. When Kashyap Chakma was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. After 97 played minutes Elementalists got a freekick which was hit by Kashyap Chakma. Elementalists's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
