The referee showed Gursukh Ghai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aroon Rao kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Massem Mondol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ultimate United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Massem Mondol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baladitya Sanghera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stevenage AFC's Baladitya Sanghera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arul Sihota in the 11th minute of play. Baladitya Sanghera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arul Sihota, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ultimate United FC were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Stevenage AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Massem Mondol took the corner. Ultimate United FC's Massem Mondol was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Baladitya Sanghera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arul Sihota in the 16th minute of play forced Stevenage AFC's goalkeeper Baladitya Sanghera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Arul Sihota cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Baladitya Sanghera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kartikeya Vadhwa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stevenage AFC's Baladitya Sanghera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhira Mattu in the 26th minute of play. Arul Sihota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baladitya Sanghera having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Adhira Mattu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ultimate United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Kartikeya Vadhwas short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Candrajita Krishnan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Apiguna Bhardwaj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Candrajita Krishnan made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Kartikeya Vadhwa sent off a good shot on target. Ultimate United FC's Candrajita Krishnan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apiguna Bhardwaj in the 46th minute of play. Baladitya Sanghera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arul Sihota, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Ultimate United FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apiguna Bhardwaj to strike the kick off in the second half. Candrajita Krishnan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kartikeya Vadhwa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ultimate United FC's Candrajita Krishnan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dhrstaka Chawla in the 54th minute of play. Candrajita Krishnan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dhrstaka Chawla, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Candrajita Krishnan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apiguna Bhardwaj in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kartikeya Vadhwa in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candrajita Krishnan saved Ultimate United FC from getting behind. In the 67th minute Kartikeya Vadhwa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candrajita Krishnan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Stevenage AFC's Gursukh Ghai got a free kick in the 68th minute. Akuntha Cheema kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With a little luck, Stevenage AFC's Baladitya Sanghera got control of the ball when Adhira Mattu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Ultimate United FC booed when Stevenage AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dhrstaka Chawla didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Stevenage AFC's Baladitya Sanghera got control of the ball when Adhira Mattu tried to sneak it across the goal line.
