The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Khampee Sarayos charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Khampee Sarayos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Khampee Sarayos kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Sawat Phimsalee took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sittikon Weerawat. Pattaya City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ekarat Rangprasert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Sittikon Weerawat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nititorn Saehui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tornchaya Boontannoi having to interfere. With his leg Tornchaya Boontannoi managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Pattaya City's Poomtanit Noree fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 16th minute, Sarawut Senanarong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sittikon Weerawat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Poomtanit Noree recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sarawut Senanarong in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sittikon Weerawat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Ban Ko Ai Mu's goal looked a bit too open when Nititorn Saehui came free, but Tornchaya Boontannoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Poomtanit Noree came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Pattaya City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Poomtanit Noree couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the game, Pattaya City's Poomtanit Noree nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tornchaya Boontannoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Nititorn Saehui struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Tornchaya Boontannoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pattaya City. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nititorn Saehui in the 44th minute of play forced Ban Ko Ai Mu's goalkeeper Tornchaya Boontannoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Parkpoom Yotarit came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Pattaya City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Parkpoom Yotarit couldn't finish the play.

Ban Ko Ai Mu's Tornchaya Boontannoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Poomtanit Noree in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ban Ko Ai Mu defense, Poomtanit Noree kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tornchaya Boontannoi. The Ban Ko Ai Mu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tornchaya Boontannoi should have stopped the shot. Poomtanit Noree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nititorn Saehui came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Pattaya City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nititorn Saehui couldn't finish the play. Nititorn Saehui struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Tornchaya Boontannoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pattaya City. Ekarat Rangprasert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sittikon Weerawat having to make a save. In the 77th minute, Wiwat Jarupealead hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sittikon Weerawat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ekarat Rangprasert went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Chinnawat Laopongharn kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Parkpoom Yotarit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match Sawat Phimsalee sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sittikon Weerawat skillfully saved the ball. Poomtanit Noree received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Tornchaya Boontannoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
