Papalia's Djati Barus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaki Pritama in the 7th minute of play. Djati Barus made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Slaven Banken sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the match, Fc Black Horse's goal looked a bit too open when Mahyadi Tanamal came free, but Hendra Renata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes, Khaidir Tupamahu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papalia and the Fc Black Horse players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Papalia getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Khaidir Tupamahu hit a great ball. The supporters of Papalia booed when Fc Black Horse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zaki Pritama didn't get a good kick on the ball. Djati Barus made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Slaven Banken sent off a good shot on target. Papalia's Djati Barus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Irama in the 25th minute of play. Papalia's Djati Barus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Papalia from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Desta Maulana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Djati Barus. That made the score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. In the 45th minute, Fc Black Horse's Slaven Banken dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaki Pritama was the one to do the kick off. Djati Barus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Irama in the 53rd minute of play. Djati Barus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertha Darusman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Djati Barus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Irama, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Papalia defense, Slaven Banken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Djati Barus. The Papalia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Djati Barus should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fc Black Horse fully deserved thier win.
