Aekgodang's Enjang Wilza managed to work through Satria Bergitar FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Aekgodang's Enjang Wilza got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hadiman Radjasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hadi Da Costa in the 20th minute. Satria Bergitar FC's Setyo Subarkah got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sam Warauws short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Hadiman Radjasa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ponco Mahayasa in the 33rd minute of play forced Aekgodang's goalkeeper Nurdin Masengi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hadiman Radjasa made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Hadi Da Costa sent off a good shot on target. Nurdin Masengi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ponco Mahayasa in the 42nd minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enjang Wilza to strike the kick off in the second half.
