After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Jayeng Lantang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Happy Soccer Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Jayeng Lantang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ansyari Patiruhu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lili Sinuraya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ikin Mahayasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ikin Mahayasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Lili Sinuraya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Putra Paluhboga's Ikin Mahayasa in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Putra Paluhboga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Kusnandar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Damian Kusnandar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Happy Soccer Club's Lili Sinuraya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Kusnandar in the 22nd minute of play. If Toni Sudarman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Supit's late challenge caught a Happy Soccer Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Supit helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Happy Soccer Club booed when Putra Paluhboga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Supit didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes in the game, Toni Sudarman dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 33rd minute when Rachman Tuanakota elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ikin Mahayasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Putra Paluhboga's supporters rose to their feet, but Ikin Mahayasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience was convinced that Damian Kusnandar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lili Sinuraya was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Lili Sinuraya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Kusnandar in the 43rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rachman Tuanakota made a kick off. If Toni Sudarman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 minutes of play, Putra Paluhboga's Ikin Mahayasa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lili Sinuraya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ikin Mahayasa scored 1-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lili Sinuraya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ikin Mahayasa struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Lili Sinuraya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Putra Paluhboga. 68 minutes into the match, Happy Soccer Club's goalkeeper Lili Sinuraya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Kusnandar. Weldy Bastari charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Weldy Bastari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Weldy Bastari hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Toni Sudarman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Supit in the 96th minute of play forced Happy Soccer Club's goalkeeper Lili Sinuraya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Putra Paluhboga eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
