Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clive Chandran started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Uldale City's Zack Yi-Sheng got control of the ball when Clive Chandran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bineesh Soon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darren Chan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute of the match, Prime Siang got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zack Yi-Sheng was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Prime Siang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the game, Asiz Hui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uldale City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formby the free kick. After a rather tough play, Uldale City's Asiz Hui got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Prime Siang got free in front of the goal in the 13th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Zack Yi-Sheng was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bineesh Soon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asiz Hui in the 17th minute of play. Zack Yi-Sheng stood somewhat misplaced when Clive Chandran came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clive Chandran got free with Zack Yi-Sheng in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clive Chandran succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After 31 played minutes Uldale City got a freekick which was hit by Afriz Gopala Pillai. Zack Yi-Sheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clive Chandran, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Uldale City's Zack Yi-Sheng got control of the ball when Prime Siang tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Clive Chandran came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Formby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clive Chandran couldn't finish the play. Uldale City's Zack Yi-Sheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Uldale City from getting a goal against them. When Prime Siang fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formby's protests and gave Prime Siang a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, Formby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prime Siang to maneuver through the defense. Iskandar Tan took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bineesh Soon. Bineesh Soon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Bineesh Soon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iskandar Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iskandar Tan to strike the kick off in the second half. Uldale City's Zack Yi-Sheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clive Chandran in the 53rd minute of play. Clive Chandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zack Yi-Sheng having to interfere. Steven Mathews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zack Yi-Sheng having to interfere. Formby's Clive Chandran got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uldale City's Zack Yi-Sheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prime Siang in the 59th minute of play. Clive Chandran struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Zack Yi-Sheng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formby. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clive Chandran in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zack Yi-Sheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute Steven Mathews shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zack Yi-Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Formby's Clive Chandran was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zack Yi-Sheng in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 78th minute Clive Chandran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zack Yi-Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clive Chandran in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zack Yi-Sheng saved Uldale City from getting behind. Prime Siang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Prime Siang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jithu Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Formby's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
