Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Leo Cook started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee felt a red card was in order, 3 minutes into the game, when Jude Abbey put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Rugeley City a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alif Hsin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Biggin Hill United's Malcolm Cotterill. 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Alif Keng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Malcolm Cotterill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alif Keng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Thorne in the 19th minute of play forced Rugeley City's goalkeeper Shahiran Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malcolm Cotterill made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alif Keng in the 20th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Alif Keng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Biggin Hill United's Malcolm Cotterill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Alif Keng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rugeley City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alif Keng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th match minute, Rugeley City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faiz Teo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faiz Teo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Malcolm Cotterill saved Biggin Hill United from getting behind. Terry Clayton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute of the match John Pickering sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shahiran Lim skillfully saved the ball. If Alif Keng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malcolm Cotterill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faiz Teo in the 40th minute of play. When Roger Thorne came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Biggin Hill United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Thorne couldn't finish the play. Faiz Teo might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Malcolm Cotterill. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faiz Teo ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faiz Teo made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Alif Keng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Cotterill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Biggin Hill United getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Nicky Driver hit a great ball. Alif Hsin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Malcolm Cotterill. Biggin Hill United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Rugeley City's Alif Keng sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Malcolm Cotterill narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roger Thorne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shahiran Lim having to interfere. If Tony Fisher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Faiz Teo made a precise shot to the right of Malcolm Cotterill. Biggin Hill United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Alif Keng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malcolm Cotterill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faiz Teo in the 92nd minute of the match. Alif Keng struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Malcolm Cotterill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rugeley City. Rugeley City's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
