Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jurong East's Arif Teo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Teo in the 3rd minute of play forced Timperley AFC's goalkeeper Azam Rajah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Dale Paine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jurong East's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Timperley AFC the free kick. Dale Paine hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Harry Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farhan Phua in the 17th minute of the match. Harry Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Chan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Azli Paine hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Harry Ek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Chan's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. The supporters of Timperley AFC booed when Jurong East was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azli Paine didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Adam Politiek sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jurong East's Harry Ek didn't even have to move. Azam Rajah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sébastien Chabal in the 26th minute. Harry Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farhan Phua in the 31st minute of the match. Jurong East's Harry Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Chan in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Chan made a kick off. Farhan Phua struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Harry Ek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timperley AFC. Harry Ek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Farhan Phua in the 54th minute. Azam Rajah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Teo in the 64th minute of the match. Arif Teo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Afiz Sarangapani kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Timperley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sébastien Chabal came free, but Azam Rajah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Timperley AFC's zone, Arif Teo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azam Rajah came out of the goal and Arif Teo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. John Sum hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arif Teo in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Azam Rajah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harry Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Chan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When John Sum fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jurong East's protests and gave John Sum a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jurong East's John Sum got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Azli Paine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harry Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Chan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harry Ek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Chan's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Sébastien Chabal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jurong East had won after a very even match.
