The referee ignored Mitamlanes FC's protests and gave Khairul Amin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Khai Yeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Ang Wah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hidayat Tian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mitamlanes FC booed when East Tilbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ang Wah didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Khai Yeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mitamlanes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave East Tilbury the free kick. Khai Yeo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Hamir Amin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mitamlanes FC's Hidayat Tian didn't even have to move. In the 20th minute of the match, Dennis Sheene got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fariz Yip was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, East Tilbury's Arif Ching got a free kick in the 26th minute. Hidayat Tian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shukrie Ching in the 34th minute of play. Dennis Sheene could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Fariz Yip made a huge save. Fariz Yip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Sheene, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Fariz Yip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Sheene in the 41st minute of play.

Khairul Kool charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Khairul Kool the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes East Tilbury got a freekick which was hit by Khairul Kool. A collision led to East Tilbury getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ang Wah hit a great ball. Mitamlanes FC's Hidayat Tian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Mitamlanes FC from getting a goal against them. Hidayat Tian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rifqi Siong, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Arif Ching charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arif Ching the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shukrie Ching struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Hidayat Tian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for East Tilbury. Hidayat Tian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ang Wah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Arif Ching had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jason Blakeley hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Darren Mullen hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Hidayat Tian successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shukrie Ching during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mitamlanes FC booed when East Tilbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shukrie Ching didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes Mitamlanes FC got a freekick which was hit by Louis Hallam. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Shukrie Ching took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Hidayat Tian to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to East Tilbury getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Khairul Kool hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Dennis Sheene sped through East Tilbury's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fariz Yip. The Mitamlanes FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
