Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clive Lum started the match with the kick off. Mark Tan hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Altrincham City's Alif Siang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Henderson in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Altrincham City's Tan Chai got a free kick in the 8th minute. The supporters of Altrincham City booed when Marlow City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noh Seng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alif Siang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Henderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Chan charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Chan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Altrincham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Chan to maneuver through the defense. Mohammad Sarangapani's late challenge caught a Marlow City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohammad Sarangapani helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Altrincham City got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Sarangapani. Clive Lum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merlin Chian struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Hafriz Chuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altrincham City. Hafriz Chuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merlin Chian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hafriz Chuan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clive Lum went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Clive Lum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Hafriz Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes of play, Marlow City's Zak Au made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alif Siang was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clive Lum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 49 minutes into the match, Marlow City's goal looked a bit too open when Clive Lum came free, but Hafriz Chuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jerry Henderson made the kick off in the second half. Alif Siang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zak Au's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Alif Siang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zak Au in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Zak Au shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alif Siang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zak Au fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alif Siang having to interfere. Merlin Chian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Marlow City's zone, Merlin Chian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hafriz Chuan came out of the goal and Merlin Chian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Marlow City's Firdauz Seng got a free kick in the 66th minute. Clive Lum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Hafriz Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Marlow City's Sharizan Wenyong got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some careless play in the Marlow City defense, Clive Lum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hafriz Chuan. The Marlow City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hafriz Chuan should have stopped the shot. After 73 played minutes, Marlow City's Zack Ching shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alif Siang came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marlow City reached it. Zak Au received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alif Siang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 minutes of play, Marlow City's Zak Au made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
