Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tan Seng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alif Ching having to make a save. 5 minutes into the match, Darfield United's goal looked a bit too open when Zafran Sim came free, but Alif Ching reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zafran Sim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alif Ching having to interfere. Darfield United's Alif Ching played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asiz Seng in the 16th minute of play. When Tan Seng fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 重庆1997's protests and gave Tan Seng a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, 重庆1997's Tan Seng got a free kick in the 17th minute. Famih Butcher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sajeev Peng kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Alif Ching showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asiz Seng in the 25th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Famih Butcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hidayat Chai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game John Shyan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 重庆1997's Hidayat Chai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zafran Sim might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alif Ching. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zafran Sim ran back to his position shaking his head. After 42 played minutes Darfield United got a freekick which was hit by Khairul Hongyi. Darfield United's Alif Ching played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zafran Sim in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When Joel Chian fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 重庆1997's protests and gave Joel Chian a yellow card for diving instead. Hidayat Chai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alam Yip went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Zafran Sim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alif Ching tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60thth minute of the game Asiz Seng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Darfield United's Alif Ching was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 61 played minutes Darfield United got a freekick which was hit by John Shyan. Alif Ching showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sajeev Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Ong Tuan took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alif Ching. Alif Ching dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Darfield United's John Shyan got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd match minute, 重庆1997 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ong Tuan to maneuver through the defense. John Shyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hidayat Chai having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Nagasaki in the 75th minute of play forced 重庆1997's goalkeeper Hidayat Chai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darfield United's Alif Ching played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asiz Seng in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Zafran Sim dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alif Ching, 2-3. In the 84th minute, Alam Yip ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hidayat Chai was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Famih Butcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, 重庆1997's Samuel Chai got a free kick in the 91st minute. With a little luck, Darfield United's Alif Ching got control of the ball when Zafran Sim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Asiz Seng struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Alif Ching didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 重庆1997. In the 96th minute, Zafran Sim fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
