Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Warer City's Sharizan Peng started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Ken FC's Daniel Siong got control of the ball when Haziq Hui tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haziq Hui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Daniel Siong made a huge save. Sharizan Peng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Daniel Siong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Siong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haziq Hui went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 14 minutes, Azly Teo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ken FC and the Warer City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Azly Teo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Sajeev Hui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firdauz Wenyong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Siong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sharizan Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Alan Hui fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warer City's protests and gave Alan Hui a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute Sajeev Hui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firdauz Wenyong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sharizan Peng in the 33rd minute of play forced Ken FC's goalkeeper Daniel Siong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ken FC's Daniel Siong got control of the ball when Haziq Hui tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ken FC's zone, Sharizan Peng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Siong came out of the goal and Sharizan Peng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Asiz Tan hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steven Seng to make the kick off. Firdauz Wenyong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Seng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Seng in the 58th minute of play forced Warer City's goalkeeper Firdauz Wenyong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Sajeev Hui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sajeev Hui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firdauz Wenyong having to interfere. Daniel Siong came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Warer City's Sharizan Peng. But to his dismay, Sharizan Peng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 81 minutes into the match, Ken FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sharizan Peng came free, but Daniel Siong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryan Pieng kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Daniel Siong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sharizan Peng in the 89th minute of play. Sajeev Hui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firdauz Wenyong having to interfere. Firdauz Wenyong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Seng in the 95th minute of the match. Ken FC's Daniel Siong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haziq Hui in the 96th minute of play.
