Casimiro Carungi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Gregorio Marcellana made a huge save. Noli Pansoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Unabia having to interfere. Ernest Unabia came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrow-in-Furness FC's Levi Quiodala. But to his dismay, Levi Quiodala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond Suico in the 18th minute of play forced West Buckland United's goalkeeper Ernest Unabia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Guillermo Conlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Buckland United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Conlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, West Buckland United's Rogelio Quimot got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Levi Quiodala struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ernest Unabia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrow-in-Furness FC. Casimiro Carungi charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casimiro Carungi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Levi Quiodala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernest Unabia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levi Quiodala in the 33rd minute of play. Levi Quiodala kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Aurelio Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Levi Quiodala in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernest Unabia saved West Buckland United from getting behind. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Levi Quiodala sped through West Buckland United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ernest Unabia. Ernest Unabia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noli Pansoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The West Buckland United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barrow-in-Furness FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Levi Quiodala was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute of the match, Levi Quiodala tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernest Unabia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Levi Quiodala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Unabia having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Levi Quiodala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
